Yay, it´s (launch) party time!

If only I had known… but I learnt five minutes ago that August 1 is YORKSHIRE DAY! How funny is that?

——————————————————-

Please grab a glass of champagne, and prepare for a loooong speech.

No, don´t run away – I am a writer, not a speaker. So let´s cut to the bone: “The Cosy Knave”, my first novel, is now out there on the ebook shelves. I am sure the title and cover speak for themselves, this story is light and funny, not intended to give anyone nightmares, but I think you´ll like several of the characters (e.g. Rhapsody and her sisters) and loathe others (the Kickinbottoms). Besides, I can offer a small village setting in Yorkshire, and I have done my best to come up with a satisfactory puzzle for you as well.

Some useful information (skip this if you just came for the drinks).

Currently “The Cosy Knave” is for sale via

Smashwords.com

Amazon.com

Diesel ebooks

In a few weeks it will also be available via Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo and Apple.

 ———————————————

The list price is $ 3.99 (see this post where I explain my price policy), but if you shop via Smashwords you can use the discount coupon code PN22N and get the book for $ 2.99 (feel free to tell your friends if you think they´d like a cosy).

And if you think, ´d…, I want to read it on my Kobo, but I also want the discount´, don´t worry. Smashwords offers ten different formats:

PDF, RTF and a couple of others for reading on the screen or printing out.

Mobi for Kindle

Epub for Nook, Sony and Kobo.

LRF and PDB for older ereaders.

And finally, Amazon offers a free Kindle reader apps for more convenient reading on the screen, just like you can download Adope Digital Editions which makes it possible to read epub texts on your computers. Not quite like using an ereader, but much nicer than reading a PDF version.

Congrats to you and your “firstborn”! I haven´t finished it yet – I got really caught up in “A game of thrones” and had more than 4000 pages of fantasy to entertain me during my looooong flights to and from Japan….
So far, I have read about a quarter of your book and have no idea who did it, but I am very eager to find out, so hopefully I will be able to review your book by the end of the week :-)

  18. Thank you, Jane, and welcome back home.
But picking 4000 pages of fantasy before MY story – really! ;)
Well, I can´t imagine it will take long to read the knave; I´ll be watching out for your review.
