Steen Langstrup, one of the best known Danish writers of horror and noir crime, visits the blog of Darlene Quinn, California.
If you like well-written, dark stories about the German occupation of Denmark (1940-45), you should read The Informer, Langstrup’s first novel in English.

And thank you to Steen who does what he can to promote fellow writers as well
Dorte – Oh, thanks for the news. I can see I’ve a new author to ‘meet.’
Thanks for posting this. I didn’t know that Denmark was occupied. Sounds like an interesting read.

I read Per Pettersen’s novel about the same era. Really enjoyed it. So I will look this one up. Thanks for posting, and letting us all know.
It is good to see there are still a few readers though I neglect my blog most of the time.
