Until this moment I thought I could show you some graphics with the results of my first poll. Apparently I´ll have to pay if I want that option so instead I´ll have to ask you to check the results yourselves by clicking on the poll.
Thank you for participating in my Sunday entertainment.
I must have been the only one to choose extreme weather. What? No car chases? 🙂
I wouldn’t necessarily read some of them but I know some are popular.
Wow! We’re all over the place, aren’t we? You never know what will make a book sell.
It’s difficult to draw conclusions, but thanks for the Sunday fun, it was quite entertaining. 😉
Kelly: I was sure extreme cold was one of the reasons why foreigners read Scandinavian mysteries 😉
Clarissa: no, if anyone added all ten ingredients in ONE thriller, I wouldn´t read it either – unless it was a parody.
Barbara: it seems there is some sort of agreement on the lone wolf protagonist.
Cathryn: and it was fun to try making a poll.
Yes, I was thinking of the lone wolf protagonist or Scandinavian writer. However, then I remembered I have been sitting in 92-102 degree weather for the last four days, so I’d go for extreme weather and/or cold and forbidding setting … the colder the better. Snow drifts, blizzards, hip-high snow, the more the better. It is really hot here on the U.S. East Coast!
