A Sticky Poll

For some reason, the Amazon guys do not put any of those helpful stickers on ebooks.

So here are my own suggestions for what to put on “The Cosy Knave”. Which one is your favourite? Feel free to add your own brilliant ideas via a comment.

And today the Cosy Knave Baton should be on its way to Karen.

I’ve never read anything by Stieg Larsson but from what I hear your stories are much better.
With regard to your poll I like If you like card games, you´ll adore The Cosy Knave but my favourite is Step aside, Agatha Raisin.

  2. Fun! Of course I love the Agatha Raisin one, but that’s because I’m such an MC Beaton fan. 🙂

  3. Norman says:

Dorte I thought your new car was important, but “If you liked The Killing [or Mercy] you will love this” might be better.

  4. Margot Kinberg says:

Dorte – I love these stickers! After all, what crime fiction novel these days can get publicity without a sticker? Nicely done. I think the cleverest one is the one about the card games.

  5. Norman says:

“If you like Danish pastries you will love this”.

  6. Kelly says:

I went with Agatha Raisin. 🙂

How about “Pour yourself a toddy and settle in with The Cosy Knave”?

  7. Tracy: of course they are, and there are no nasty hackers in my stories 😉
Elizabeth: yes, she is a great writer of cosy mysteries.
Norman: yes, that´s a good one. Especially as a Danish blogger wrote “a delicious smell of scones and five-o´clock tea” about the story 😉
Kelly: perhaps, unless it scares some tea-totallers off? 😉

  8. I voted for Agatha only because I would love to see her beady little eyes when you elbow her aside.

  9. Karen: haha, people either love or hate Agatha. She could be a great character in a cosy… eh?

  10. Maxine says:

I went with AR too, but you could go “If you like your cards sharp, you’ll like…..”

  11. Maxine: LOL
Actually I thought about making one of the characters a card sharper, but somehow I forgot again.

  12. Betteskov says:

A vote from me for Normans suggestion! I liked the Stieg Larsson idea, but Rhapsy and Lisbeth Salander doesn´t have that much in commen (even though I imagine LS does not knit, either) and Penrose is somewhat less of a player than Blomquist. Olfactory stimuli are very, very important for the human brain: go for the pastries 😀
