Funday: My Life as a Book

Thank you to Pop Culture Nerd and Margot Kinberg for the inspiration and invitation to participate in this fun meme. And of course my friends have added a twist: post a picture of yourself. Done! (And don´t ask; I have forgotten what was wrong with the soup)

My Life As a Book 2011

One time at band/summer camp, I: Hardly Knew Her (Laura Lippman)

Weekends at my house are: The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (Alan Bradley)

My neighbour is: Diamond Dust (Peter Lovesey)

My boss is: Overkill (Vanda Symon)

My ex was: The Big O (Declan Burke)

My superhero secret identity is: The Mermaid (Camilla Läckberg)

You wouldn´t like me when I´m angry because: Star Struck (Val McDermid)

I´d win a gold medal in: The Demise of the Soccer Moms (Cathryn Grant)

I´d pay good money for: House of Silence (Linda Gillard)

If I were president, I would: Hide My Eyes (Margery Allingham)

When I don´t have good books, I: Close up (Esther Verhoef)

Loud talkers at the movies should be: A Graceful Death (Ann Summerville)

Dorte – Oh, this is wonderful! Those answers just made me laugh! My favourite is your answer to I’d win a gold medal in:. Really wonderful! Of course, all of them are great…
And I just love that picture! I You look as though there’s an important clue you’ve just noticed with that soup.

  3. Kelly says:

What fun!! I remember doing one of these last year.

I think my favorites are the “president” question and the last question. You do look quite baffled by something you see in that bowl. 😉

  4. Margot: reading a lot of crime fiction has its advantages.
And the soup – well, perhaps someone was trying to poison me??? 😉

Kelly: it would be great fun if you played along again.

  5. Good ones – I like your answer to what happens when you don’t have good books! but I do think that maybe you sit down and write your own.

  6. Barbara says:

You look like you just spied an eyeball in the soup and had a great idea for a novel. 🙂

  7. Margot Kinberg says:

Dorte – So sorry I forgot to thank you for linking to my post – much appreciated!

  8. Margaret: I might, but surviving for a long stretch of time without books around me would be an ordeal 😉

Barbara: of course, that was the eyeball! Thank you for reminding me :O

Margot: with my concentration I am happy whenever I remember anything! But I do try to repay some of the many favours my friends do me.

  9. I love this meme, it’s so much fun. Thanks for sharing the novels.

    Beth: yes, please do!

  12. Vanda Symon says:

  13. Vanda: I know – but not in bosses ;D

  14. Carrie K. says:

Love your answers – especially what you’d pay good money for! LOL

  15. Carrie: thank you. The more crime you read, the funnier these memes are.
