It´s Sweden´s Day # 5

We visited a wonderful museum village – enjoy exterior and interior – not sure it is the same house, but they were all so very charming (I will show you later how small they were).

  1. Norman says:

Dorte was this Skansen in Stockholm? Or somewhere smaller? Very evocative photos.

  2. Norman: no, it is a small place – Broby regional museum – don´t know if that´s what they call it in English, but that´s what it is😉 A lovely place in Skåne.

  3. Dorte – What lovely ‘photos! I love the simplicity both outside and inside. I also like that dark, warm wood of the furniture. It goes with the home somehow…

  4. Petty Witter says:

Oh I’d have loved this musuem as well.

  5. Kelly says:

What a unique roof! The interior is charming. So cozy!

  6. Margot: they are ever so cosy – at least to look at.

Tracy: that museum was a real treat.

    Kelly: yes, exactly.

  7. Patti Abbott says:

    Small but lovely.

  8. Ellen says:

Apparently many of the Swedes lived in tiny houses – I’ve seen one like the one you’ve shown here; housing a family with 9 children! Completely unbelievable…
This is amazing – and it’s in Broby, you say! Just 15 km from our Swedish house! Embarrassing that I don’t know that – we must visit the museum very soon. Thanks for the information, Dorte🙂
