As promised last week – a couple of shots of the interior of our rented cottage. For those of you who don´t know Sweden that well, I can tell you the style is ´old-fashioned charm´. Very old-fashioned 🙂

And so cute! 🙂
I’d prefer to think of this as charming rather than old fashioned. Loving that range though I’m not too sure I’d like to clean it.
Joanne: yes, it was cute 🙂
Tracy: there was a more modern contraption to cook on, but I am glad they had left the old one there. It really added to the atmosphere. And as we didn´t use it, we didn´t have to clean it either.
Dorte was that old cooker on the Vasa. 😉 “Old fashioned” but with central heating! I am pleased you enjoyed your time there.
I wouldn’t even know how to t urn that stove on! Or…does it burn wood? Geez, Dorte. I don’t think quaint even says it all. LOL
Dorte – Oh, I just love that kitchen! Erm – but I wouldn’t want to have to cook in it….. I have become, sad to say, spoiled by today’s technology…
It’s charming!! I, too, am curious about that stove and how it works. Bet it doesn’t have an instruction book with it. 😉
It is lovely Dorthe, and I wondered if you had a go at cooking on the old wood stove. Guess you were there in summer so you did not have any wood handy to heat it up???
I knew you would like the old stove, and obviously it was very inspiring for me as I was researching “Anna Märklin” at the time.
