I know it is not done. Writers do not share their sales figures – unless they are in the Amanda Hocking league.
But today I´ll just forget about what other writers do because I know you will all be so happy for me.
In ten months (and nine days to be precise) I have sold 1,000 copies of “The Cosy Knave”.
No cheating; I have not counted ARCs, and I have not even counted a few copies of “Murder deLight” which is the new British title of the novel.
I am so happy, so proud and so excited – and I want to share this moment with you, all my dear and faithful blog friends – because without your help and support I would never have reached this milestone so soon.
Many congrats Dorte!
Congratulations, Dorte! That’s fantastic news. Enjoy your celebration. 🙂
Opening champagne bottle ‘Yeah, not that it comes as a big surprise that The Cozy Knave is doing so well but congratulations anyway’ x
If you can’t celebrate with your friends, who CAN you celebrate with?? Congratulations, Dorte!!! I’m always pleased to hear of your accomplishments. 🙂
I’m so happy for you, Dorte! Do enjoy a big celebration.
Well done Dorte!
Thank you so much! I knew you would be happy for me and understand I wanted to share this news with YOU x
Congratulations and well done! 1,000 is not just a milestone; it’s a magic number.
Can we shoot for 10,000 now? 🙂
Howard: sure. I´m definitely between 1,000 and 10,000 now 😀
Thank you, Belle.
Congratulations. Patience and perseverance pays off!
Woo hoo!!! Tilykke!!
Congratulations! That’s such good news.
Great news! Many congratulations and here’s to ever increasing sales.
Congratulations to you!
That’s really cool! I have no idea how many books I’ve sold.
This is truly amazing based on what other people have told me about their sales. You must have great word of mouth business. Hurray!
Again, thank you to you all for your support and your encouragement. 🙂
I somehow missed this due to some computer issues I was having, but that is fantastic. Hope you’re working on the series.
Thank you, Seana.
I plan to publish a Scandinavian mystery in September/October (serious crime, but not gory, of course). If all goes well I hope I can write most of the second Gershwin & Penrose novel this summer, but much depends on the health of the whole family).
That is so COOL. :-O
I am really so happy for you and that you shared the good news with us. 😀
And I am sure this is just the beginning. Consistency and renewing it the key to great success.
Poly: I hope so. But let´s see what happens when I have published my next novel which is very different.
Fantastic stuff! You inspire us all! 🙂
You are so sweet, Joanne 🙂
Thank you, Ronald and Care.
Sorry you had to wait in the spam folder, Care 😦
That’s fantastic, congratulations, Dorte!
