A trip away from home

We had a lovely (even sunny) day yesterday together with good friends in the part of Denmark called Himmerland. My husband wanted some photos of contemporary church art, and I just wanted pictures of anything that took my fancy, especially windows.

First pictures from three churches. Brorstrup, Binderup and Vognsild, all with interesting, contemporary art.

The last ones are from an iron age village near Viborg. For further details, please visit my facebook album.

Also with a thing about windows, my thanks for sharing all these wonderful examples, I especially like the window on the middle of the top row – so simple and yet somehow stunning, its gorgeous.
